Access & roles
Signing in and what each role can do.
Access to tixigen is authenticated (NextAuth). Each member belongs to a workspace and holds one of four roles: admin, reviewer, publisher or creator. The role decides how far you can go across editing, approving, publishing and administration.
Signing in
- 1Open the login screen and enter your registered email address and password.
- 2If you forget your password, reset it from the login screen.
- 3After signing in, you land on the Overview.
The Studio UI is available in Japanese, English and Vietnamese. Accounts are created by a workspace admin, and locked accounts cannot sign in.
The four roles
- Admin: full control within the workspace, including members, roles, settings and integrations.
- Reviewer: checks quality, approves articles and schedules publishing.
- Publisher: publishes to WordPress and the headless web.
- Creator: creates AI articles and edits content and media.
Permissions by action
- Create and edit: admin, reviewer, publisher, creator
- Approve and withdraw approval: admin, reviewer
- Publish, unpublish, schedule and publish to WordPress: admin, reviewer, publisher
- Delete articles and restore them from the trash: admin
- Manage members, roles, workspace settings and integrations: admin
Roles rank admin, reviewer, publisher, creator from highest to lowest. A higher role can do everything a lower role can.
Managing members
Admins use Members in the workspace settings to create accounts, assign roles and workspaces, lock and unlock accounts, and reset passwords.
Assign the smallest role that does the job. For example, make writers creators and quality-checking editors reviewers, so fewer paths lead to publishing without approval.
