Privacy Policy

Tiximax Co., Ltd. ("we") handles personal information in tixigen (the "Service") and on tixigen.com as described below, in line with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) and other laws.

1. Who we are

Tiximax Co., Ltd., 4-3-12-1007 Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 104-0045, Japan. Representative Director: 武 仁誠.

2. Information we collect

  • (1) Account and contract details: name, email, company, department/title, phone, workspace name.
  • (2) Payment details: card data is collected directly by Stripe, Inc.; we never hold card numbers (we receive only brand, last four digits, expiry and billing history).
  • (3) Usage data: sign-in history, activity logs, IP address, browser/device data, cookies.
  • (4) Customer Content you enter or upload, including any personal information you choose to include.
  • (5) Data from services you connect, such as WordPress or Google Search Console, and their credentials.
  • (6) Information you give us when contacting us or requesting a demo.

3. How we use it

  • (1) Providing the Service, verifying identity and managing accounts.
  • (2) Billing and payment.
  • (3) Answering enquiries and support.
  • (4) Sending important notices, including changes to terms.
  • (5) Preventing fraud and keeping the Service secure.
  • (6) Improving the Service and building features from usage analysis.
  • (7) Telling you about new features and offers (you can opt out at any time).
  • (8) Complying with the law.

4. Sharing with third parties

We do not provide personal data to third parties without consent unless required by law. Entrusting data to service providers to achieve the purposes above (next section) is not third-party provision.

5. Service providers

We entrust personal data to these providers and supervise them appropriately. Payments: Stripe, Inc. (USA). AI text generation: Anthropic, PBC (Claude, USA). AI image generation and text analysis: Google LLC (Vertex AI / Gemini, Imagen; processed in the USA, Singapore and other regions). Both are business services that do not use inputs to train their models. Analytics: Google LLC (Google Analytics, USA). Keyword and search data: DataForSEO, Perplexity AI and similar (outside Japan; we send search keywords and URLs only, never personal information).

We may also entrust part of development, operations and support to our group companies (including in Vietnam).

6. Transfers outside Japan

As above, we entrust personal data to providers outside Japan. We choose providers with systems meeting APPI standards and take necessary measures by contract. On request, we will tell you about these measures and the data protection system of the destination country.

7. Security measures

To prevent leaks we:

  • (1) maintain a basic policy and handling rules;
  • (2) appoint a responsible person and a reporting line;
  • (3) train staff and bind them to confidentiality;
  • (4) control office access and protect devices from theft;
  • (5) manage access rights, encrypt connections and guard against unauthorized access; and
  • (6) review the legal systems of countries where data is handled.

If personal data is leaked, lost or damaged in a way likely to seriously harm individuals' rights, we will promptly report it to Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission and notify the people affected, as APPI requires.

8. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to analyse usage. We may use Google Analytics for this, in which case Google handles the data under its own privacy policy. You can disable cookies in your browser or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

9. Retention

We delete Customer Content 30 days after the contract ends. Contract and billing records are kept for the period required by law (generally 7 years).

10. Your rights

You may ask us to notify you of purposes, disclose, correct, add to or delete, stop using or erase your retained personal data, stop third-party provision, or disclose third-party provision records. Email the contact below; after verifying your identity we will act without delay and normally reply within 30 days of verification, free of charge.

11. Changes

We may update this policy, for example when laws change. We announce material changes in the Service or on our website.
