Automation
Schedule drafts and daily generation.
Set schedules so the system picks topics from your SEO map and creates drafts automatically. Automation stops at drafting: nothing publishes without approval.
Schedule settings
- Name: a name to identify the schedule.
- Site, market and language: which site, market and language the articles are for.
- Articles per day: from 1 to 10.
- Run time: runs once a day at the time you set.
- Review required: whether generated articles go to pending review or stay as drafts.
Creating a schedule
- 1Open the automation screen and create a new schedule.
- 2Choose the site, market and language.
- 3Set the number of articles per day and the run time.
- 4Choose whether review is required, then switch the schedule on.
How topics are chosen
Topics are taken from the cluster article plans in the target site's SEO content map. The more plans you keep on the map, the more automated drafting follows your priority topics.
What happens after generation
- With review required, articles enter the review queue as pending review.
- Without it, articles are saved as drafts.
- Either way, automation never publishes an article.
- Approved articles can be published at the auto-publish times set in the site's publish cadence.
The publish cadence only publishes approved articles. Articles whose approval was withdrawn, or that were edited after approval, are skipped.
When a generation fails
Failed generation jobs appear in the automation queue, where you can run them again with the retry button.
