FAQ

What happens to Japanese titles?

The tool keeps only letters a to z and digits 0 to 9, so kanji and kana are removed. For Japanese articles, enter English or romaji keywords to build the slug.

How are symbols and spaces handled?

Any run of non-alphanumeric characters becomes a single hyphen, and leading or trailing hyphens are removed.

Can I change a slug after publishing?

You can, but existing links and search results still point to the old URL, so it is standard practice to add a 301 redirect from the old URL to the new one.
